2013年8月24日凌晨至25日08:00,受12号台风“谭美”影响,横江流域出现一次强降雨天气过程,本次降雨分布范围广、强度大,暴雨中心位于横江上段盐津县中和乡中堡村一带,中心最大6 h降雨量达99.5mm,最大24 h雨量达152.5 mm,先后造成横江干、支流多个水文站出现超警戒水位和超保证水位,豆沙关水文站出现了建站以来的最大洪水导致横江下段出现洪水灾害。
