Objective: The main objective of this study is to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of cleidocranial dysplasia and review the literature, and the sequential treatment was emphasized.Methods: We present a 9-years-old boy with cleidocranial dysplasia, who has hypoplasia of clavicles, delayed closure of the fontanelles, retarded exfoliation of deciduous teeth, retarded eruption of permanent teeth, and multiple impacted supernumerary teeth.According to the clinical and radiographic examination results of abnormalities of bone and teeth,it is easy to make diagnosis, but hard to achieve perfect curative effect.We performed a well-organized sequential treatment procedure, including extraction of deciduous and supernumerary teeth, partial resection of alveolar bone,distraction of impacted teeth and orthodontic treatment.
