Objective:To review the peri-operative treatment for infants under 5kg with congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.Methods:From Jan.2007 to June 2007,33 infants under 5kg with CHD and PH underwent comprehensive cardiac surgical treatments which included completed preoperative preparation of medication per oral and vein for 6 to 14 days to alleviate congestive cardiac dysfunction and reduce the pulmonary resistance,quick surgical patch repairs during normothermic or mild hypothermic CPB with a low dose of PGE1 (1 ~ 2ng/(kg.min)) and milrinone (0.5 ~ 0.75μg/(kg.min)) combined with dopamine at 5μg/(kg.min) 5min before aortic de-clamping.The mean time of ventilation was 42.62h.
