  In the age of information technology, traditional cultural heritage protection methods are facing challenges in keeping pace with the development of digital technology.In recent years, many countries (at the national and regional levels) aim to protect their historical and cultural resources with digital means, and the results have become increasingly significant and have thus led to a paradigm shift in preservation policy.The paper discusses the Municipal Administration Center of Parks, which manages several World Cultural Heritage Sites and National Priority Protected Sites (announced in the first batch) such as the New Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven Park, and Beihai Park.The paper deeply analyses the technology application and reformation of working units in digital heritage information collection, heritage monitoring,architectural heritage digital archive management,architectural heritage digital display in the last ten years,and proposes a systemic solution for current problems in order to promote the development of cultural heritage protection and to safeguard the outstanding traditional culture of China.The inheritance of cultural heritage depends on the state-of-the-art technologies and the media distribution of the time.In recent years, with the rapid development of digital technology, new strategies were developed to optimize culture as a resource for economic and social development.Today digital cultural heritage conservation and utilization have become a global trend.
