The Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB),located between the Siberia Craton,Tarim and North China Craton,is one of the largest oro-gens on Earth which evolved over almost 800 million years from the late middle Proterozoic to late Paleozoic,recording the breakup of Ro-dinia supercontinent and the creation of the Eurasian continent.The Paleozoic tectonic evolution history of NE China associated with the closure of Paleo-Asian Ocean has been hotspots for the orogen since many years ago.Nowadays,there are different opinions about the nature of basement in eastern CAOB.
