A Schiff base containing triphenylamine-based1 has been synthesized and characterized,which exhibited outstanding recognition ability toward Zn2+in C2H5OH/water(4:1) and aggregation-induced emission(AIE)2 behavior in CH3CN/water.The photophysical properties in solution,aqueous and crystalline state,alone with their relationships,are comparatively investigated.
