　　The pressure energy of fluid flow is one kind of reusing resources in various process industries.This study introduces a Supercharged Rotary Pressure Exchanger (S-RPE) that can increase the pressure energy in SWRO system utilizing water shock effect.An optimal wave analysis is carried out based on solving a simplified unsteady flow model.The pressure propagation behaviors and flow characters are acquired in pressure exchange process.In various operating conditions, the pressure recovery performance of S-RPE is rapidly obtained by an optimal wave analysis.
