TO bjective To study the incidenceofetiologicalrisk factorsand clinicalfeaturesin elderlystrokepatients.Methods For thelast four years (2008-2012)of 40cases of stroke inelderlyhospitalizedpatientswere analyzed retrospectively, summarizedthe extent of infection.Results The hospitalization time of the elderly patients with SAP was increased, and mortality was also increased significantly.The detection of Klebsiella pneumonia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacter aerogenes, baumanii and Escherichia coli were major pathogenic bacteria in the elderly with SAP in this study.Conclusion SAP is a severe complication of stroke in the elderly, Some factors (Aspiration, Coma and primary diseases) were related to the occurring of SAP.In order to reducethe mortality rate ofstrokein elderly patients, the need toadopt comprehensivemeasures tolead toelderlystroke-relatedfactorsoflung infectioncontrol.
