Knowledge ofcopepod in situ diet is critical for accurate assessmentof trophic linkages and transfer efficiencies of the marine food web butis limited due to technical challenges.Here we report,using a recently developed eukaryote-universal Copepod-Excluding Ectobiotic Ciliate-blocking (CEEC)protocol,on naturaldiets of thecopepodsTemora turbinate,Subeucalanussubcrassus and Canthocalanus pauperin coastal waters in Sanya Bay,China.
