Pastes with water-cement ratios of 0.3, 0.35, 0.4 and 0.45 were prepared for measuring the chemical shrinkage (CS), the autogenous shrinkage (AS) and the electrical resistivity (ER, p) during hydration period of 7days.The mechanism of chemical shrinkage and autogenous strinkage during cement hydration is investigated by the microsstructure mechanism linked to electrical resistivity. The correlation of chemical shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage, electrical resistivity and chemical shrinkage, electrical resistivity and autogenous shrinkage of the pastes were established after setting occurrence.A power relationship is obtained between AS and p, and an exponential relationship between the electrical resistivity and the autogenous shrinkage of each paste during 7d.The hydration degree, the pore structure and the volume change during hydration process are linked to the physical parameters.
