AlMgB14,as a kind of superhard material,possesses the advantages of excellent mechanical properties,high chemical stability,low friction coefficient,low density and low cost.However,due to its poor plasticity,AlMgB14 need to be bonded with metal to get wide application.The addition of TiB2 in AlMgB14 matrix improves its activity in bonding with metal greatly.
