Objective:Monitor the blood lactic acid level changed during the course of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB),access its meaning in cardiac surgeries. Methods:Randomly choose 100 CPB cardiac surgery patients, record the data of lactic acid, blood glucose,PH,PCO2,PO2,BE,SBC at prebypass, during bypass, before come off bypass,3 hours,24 hours and 48 hours after operation, also the chest drainage, blood transfusion, trachea cannula time,ICU time and prognosis.Analysis the relation and meaning among them. Results:The patients which got trachea cannula time >3 days,ICU time >5 days, chest drainage >1000ml caused by postoperative complications are all got lactic acid level >3mmol/l,average 5.49 ± 0.96mmol/L,got severely comp1ications when > 10mmol/L.Lactic acid level has close correlation with blood glucose.
