A novel ratiometric fluorescence chemodosimeter has been developed for recyclable detection of Hg2+.The chemodosimeter exhibited high sensitive and selective respond to Hg2+ by formation of a unique mercury-containing compound, accompanying with remarkable fluorescence change from yellow-green to blue through hampering the excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) process in PBS buffer solution (PH =7.4).
