  As rheological properties plays adverse effect on slope safety in the long term,this paper will discuss time-dependent slope stability which assists to predict potential failure and establish a reasonable pre-determined FOS to make it stable in the predicable future.Herein,an introduction on the quasi-coupled analysis will be provided with illustrations on the establishment of idealized model in the frame of Abaqus.Later on,relative sensitivity analysis is performed with the help of Grey Correlation Analysis theory followed by a discussion on the achieved relative sensitivity ranking.It shows that shear strength parameters play paramount role and the quasi-analysis can help to give advice on slope mitigation and construction by taking the most unfavorable strength value into account.
