Revascularization appears to improve outcomes in elderly (≥75 years old) with stable angina,ACS and STEMI.However they are also more likely to experience procedural complications (bleeding,ARF, MACE, CHF & Stroke), owing to age-related physiological changes, frailty and co-mobilities.Outcome of reperfusion therapy with PCI is better than thrombolytic therapy in the elder patients with STEMI.
