Harary index is defined as the sum of all reciprocal values of distances between different vertices of a molecular graph. In order to improve performance of Harary index,a modification of Harary index has recently been introduced that gives more weight to the contributions of pairs of vertices of high degrees.Weighting is introduced so that the contribution of a pair of vertices to the value of the index is multiplied by the sum of the degrees of those two vertices. This modification is named additively weighted Harary index.
