The overarching theme of our research is to determine the controls and regulators of communication between the chloroplast and nucleus,a process referred to as retrograde signaling.This presentation will focus on a long term project in our group to understand how high light and drought stress is perceived by the chloroplast and in turn regulates gene expression in the nucleus.
