Metal allergy is prevalent in the general population and among patients with allergic contact dermatitis.This oral presentation offers an update on the causes and clinical presentation of frequent metal allergens including nickel,cobalt,chromium and gold.Furthermore,it discusses the development of metal allergy following regulatory interventions.
