经验表明具有某些相似特性的元素共存可以明显提高合金的玻璃形成能力。据此研究了原子尺寸相近的稀土元素Gd-Tb共存的(Gd-Tb)-Al-Co系列合金。利用铜模铸造法对合金的玻璃形成能力进行了研究,并采用X射线衍射和差示扫描量热法分别对合金的结构及热稳定进行了研究。结果表明,Gd-Tb共存的确提高了合金的玻璃形成能力。(Gd-Tb)-Al-Co合金非晶形成临界直径可达5mm,玻璃形成能力最好的成分位于共晶点附近。在低温磁性能研究中(Gd-Tb)-Al-Co非晶合金表现出明显的自旋玻璃态行为。
Experience has shown that coexistence of elements with certain similar properties can significantly improve the glass forming ability of the alloy. Based on this, the (Gd-Tb) -Al-Co alloy with Gd-Tb rare earth elements with similar atomic size was studied. The glass forming ability of the alloy was studied by copper mold casting method. The structure and thermal stability of the alloy were studied by X-ray diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry. The results show that the coexistence of Gd-Tb does improve the glass forming ability of the alloy. (Gd-Tb) -Al-Co alloy amorphous forming critical diameter up to 5mm, glass forming ability of the best components in the vicinity of the eutectic point. In the low-temperature magnetic properties of (Gd-Tb) -Al-Co amorphous alloy showed obvious spin glass behavior.
