Crystalline metal chalcogenide materials may find applications in ion exchange,optoelectronics,nonlinear optics,fast ion conductivity,etc.Our recent research is focused on the construction of metal chalcogenides built from novel secondary building units (SBU) integrating fundamental building units with different geometries.
