A major problem in cancer chemotherapy is the development of multidrug resistance(MDR)by tumour cells.In recent years,RNAi-based technology holds enormous potential beyond a laboratory to the clinic.RNAi therapy targeting MDR is being investigated for enhancing drug efficacy on drug resistance strains while minimizing the associated adverse effects.
