Burch coloposuspension is gold standard in the management of stress urinary incontinence due to bladder neck hyper mobility.Preoperative evaluation of case selection for modified burch coloposuspension clinically, Boneys test, Transperineal USG and some cases with urodynamic study.For the last 20 years I have operated and followed up 230 cases of SUI.(Primary-220, failed previous surgery-10 cases) Cherneys incision gives good exposure, easy to control bleeding, Single mattress suture at bladder neck using proline no.1 is taken through endopelvic fascia, vagina and tied to pectineal ligament.Complication of procedure are injury to the vesical & vaginal veins (cases-15), Bladder Injury -(Case-1), Wound Morbidity-(Case 50), Post operative voiding difficulty-(Case-14),Incisional Hernia-(Case-1), Failure-(Case-2), Success Rate-95%.
