Aim:Aconitine,derived from the aconite plant,is a highly poisonous alkaloid related to serious cardiac arrhythmia.This paper describes a metabonomics approach based on the combination of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and pattern recognition method for the metabolic profiling of the rats treated with aconitine.
