The optimal model matching adaptive controller based on the H_∞norm minimum theory guarantees that the error transfer function between the closed-loop system and the reference model is the smallest in the sense of H_∞norm. This adaptive controller can guarantee the closed-loop system stability {BIBO Stable) regardless of whether the controlled object is stable and whether it is the minimum phase.
