Aerosol forcing remains the largest uncertainty and thus representations of aerosol physical and chemical processes in climae model is a key issue to simulatecurrent climate state and predict future climate changeaccuratelly.A brief introduction is given on size resolved aerosol module development,including parameterizations of various physical and chemical processes in climate models,and aerosol optical properties and their climatic forcing.
