Nanocrystalline material obtained by electrodeposition need some heat treatment for the chemical ordering and thermal stability.Annealing under high magnetic fields allows restraining the unwanted abnormal grain growth of nanocrystalline films. With an attempt to further elucidate the magnetic field’s role on the annealing process, the microstructure of CoNiP films before and after high magnetic field annealing were investigated by field emission scanning electronic microscopy (FE-SEM),atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
