A new circulatory system, the primo vascular system (PVS) was first claimed to be the anatomical structure of acupuncture meridians by Bong-Han Kim (BHK) in the early 1960 s.Despite strong interest in many countries no one could reproduce his results for a long time and therefore its validity was in dispute.In the year 2002 an intensive re-investigation of the Bong-Han Theory was started by the Biomedical Physics Laboratory at Seoul National University.First, the primo vessel in the abdominal artery and caudal vena cava of a rabbit was indeed confirmed as BHK described.
