Purpose China has the largest osteoporosis-affected population in the world.However, population-based survey for osteoporosis awareness has not been reported.This study was to determine the basic awareness status of osteoporosis in a large community in China.The relationship between awareness and calcaneus quantitative ultrasound (QUS) was also assessed.
