Cancer is an escalating health problem worldwide.The occurrence of this disease was only previously observed in developed countries.To date, two thirds of all cancer deaths occur in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs).Studies on the global burden of this disease have reported 8 million cancer deaths in 2010.This number represents less than 20% of all deaths worldwide, but it has increased by 38% in the past 20 years.
