Objective To screen and identify differentially expressed genes in peripheral ganglion in type 2 diabetic and high-fat high-sugar (HFHS) diet resistant rats. Methods We compared the differential gene expression in 2 groups using Illumina(R) Sentrix(R) BeadChip arrays. Results (1) 158 out of 12 604 genes were differentially expressed.(2) GO analysis showed 4 and 2 biological processes were significant in high expressed genes of diabetic and resistant rats, respectively.(3) KEGG analysis showed 6 and 1 pathways were significant in high expressed genes of diabetic and resistant rats, respectively. Conclusion Muscle system process and response to biotic stimulus was involved in the process of diabetes and HFHS diet resistance.
