Terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide dating (TCND) is widely used to determine the ages of Quaternary erratic boulders or glacier-polished surface.TCND provides an opportunity to turn relative ages obtained from Schmidt Hammer into calibrated ages.Winkler (2009) named the method as "Schmidt Hammer Exposure age dating (SHD)".ion between the rebound values and TCND ages.
