1地质概况马元铅锌矿床位于扬子陆块北缘,陕西汉中南部碑坝(杂岩)育隆的周边(王党国和石尊应,2009)。基底由中、晚元古代火地垭群中、深变质火山碎屑岩系及晋宁-澄江期中酸性侵入岩、基性杂岩等构成,盖层由角度不整合于基底之上的上震旦统-下寒武统浅海相碳酸盐岩-碎屑岩系构成(齐文等,2004)。马元铅锌矿赋存于上震旦统灯影组白云岩中,区内构造总体上为一个大型穹窿构造,铅锌矿体围绕育隆核部呈带状
