As an important polymer magnetic microsphere, magnetic chitosan microsphere (MCMS) is one kind of useful magnetic nanomaterials which was synthesized by coating a layer of chitosan film onto the carbon-coated iron magnetic nanoparticles.It has been successfully applied in chemically modified electrodes because of its abundant functional groups and superparamagnetic character.
