This presentation will first go over the market of implantable orthopedic and spinal devices.Then the materials selection for implantable devices will be discussed.A case study on medical textiles for implantable spinal devices will be the focus of this talk to illustrate the steps and factors for the successful clinical application and commercialization of medical textiles.
