Investigations carried out for last years in cement polish industry indicate usefulness of calcareous fly ash in technologies of production of clinker with low CO2 index. In this paper fly ash from lignite coal combustion process are analyze. There are fly ash with high CaO and Al2O3 concentration, with chemical composition similar to blast furnace slag, containing calcium oxide not combined in carbonate minerals. That chemical and mineral composition created very good pozzolanic-hydraulic properties of the calcareous fly ash, and usefulness to low CO2 emission composite cement production with high non clinker amount. In the paper, another way to reduce CO2 emission in cement production process has been discussed.Using the calcareous fly ash containing great amount noncarbonated CaO form allowing to reduce of CO2 index even to 70 kg per Mg of clinker.Additionally, using the calcareous fly ash as a aluminosilicate raw materials can improve burnability factors of clinkering process. The laboratory and industry trials ordinary Portland clinker production using calcareous fly ashes containing about 25% noncarbonated CaO form are presented.
