@@ Pulmonary tuberculosis(TB)is an infectious disease that disturbs the balanced status of public health.Accurate diagnosis of TB would effectively help controlling the disturbance.Since proteomic fingerprint profiling by matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS)combined with pretreatment ofmagnetic beads is a robust approach for the investigation of new biomarkers and lots of related researches have built up useful classification trees by using this technique,we used this technology to establish a diagnostic model for TB inthis study.178 serum samples involving 75 patients with TB(43 were smear-positive patients of TB(SPP-TB),32 were smear·negative patients of TB(SNP-TB)),other 43 individuals serving as disease control group(DC group)including 16 lung cancer,20 pneumonia,4 chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,3 bronchiectasia and 60 healthy controls (HC group) were involed in this study.
