Since fluorescence (FL) imaging in thin polymer films is of growing interest due to its potential applications in photonic/electronic devices such as optical data storage and displays. Many techniques which require dedicated equipment and involve multiple steps have been demonstrated. In this work, simple methods for fabricating bicolor patterns with a single dye species are demonstrated. With incubation, different emissions come from the different thickness of polymer, and the intensity ratio of these two colors can be adjusted by changing the ratio of the dyes to the polymer.
