In this study, Molecular phylogenetic relationships were analyzed among 17 Plectorhinchus species collected from Indo-Western Pacific based on partial sequences of nuclear DNA marker RAG2.The phylogenetic trees were constructed using neighbor-joining and maximum parsimony method and two morphologically different clades were formed in the trees: Clade one composed of the Plectorhinchus species with wondrous coloration and diversed patterns which mainly found in Western Pacific.
