As an excellent exoelectrogen in Microbial Fuel Cell,the genomes of Shewanella were significant in exoelectrogen genomics research.In this paper,we performed a comprehensive re-annotation of protein-coding genes based on a hybrid method in 10 complete genomes of the genus Shewanella,including S.baltica OS678,S.denitrificans OS217,S.frigidimarina NCIMB 400,S.oneidensis MR1,S.pealeana ATCC 700345,S.piezotolerans WP3,S.sediminis HAW-EB3,S.violacea DSS12 DNA,S.woodyi ATCC 51908 and S.loihica PV-4.
