This talk will explore/summarize the relationship between ALD (asym-metric Laplace distributiuon),QR (quantile regression) and Lasso.In particular,this talk includes a review of the properties of ALD and its important applications in QR test and Bayesian inference,presents the scale mixture representation of ALD and a partially collapsed Gibbs samplers for Bayesian QR.
