In this paper experimental researches of secondary flow in cross section of confluent bend channel are carried out in a conceptual physical model channel with U type bend intersected by a straight tributary at the bend apex.

The results of modeling in river engineering are an elementary prerequisite for river management, especially sediment transport, and are consequently of fundamental importance.
In this paper, A cohesionless sand slope was constructed with the presences of both front fluvial flow and lateral seepage.Five linear displacement sensors were attached to the middle line of the slop
River channel confluences are critical interface where intense changes in physical processes occur. These changes affect both the local and downstream characteristic of the river flow and of the bed.
The operation of the Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) will significantly change the hydrological conditions in the middle Yangtze River (MYR), particularly the sediment concentration.

This study aims to compare Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) turbulence models (k-ε and k-ω models) under the condition of oscillatory boundary layer flow at high Reynolds number.
The paper presented an incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH) method to simulate the unsteady flow and bed scouring process.

Owing to complex and irregular bottom topography and the large longitudinal scale, the hydrodynamic simulation of river networks is often dealt as one-dimensional problems in examinations of river-lak
After the completion of the Three Gorges Project, conditions for incoming water and sediment of the Yangtze river channel downstream from the Three Gorges reservoir will change, the sediment transport
