  Spatial homogeneity in HTS tapes is one of the most important requirements for practical applications.However,the relationship between local critical current,Ic,variation and global current-voltage (I-V) characteristics in HTS long tapes is not yet fully understood.In this study,we investigated local Ic variation in a commercial 100 m-long Bi-2223 multi-filamentary tape by use of reel-to-reel scanning Hall probe microscopy (RTR-SHPM).
