Bi nanosphere/GO composite was first synthesized by a simple one-step solvothermal method.Compared with bare Bi nanosphere,the nanohybrid exhibited highly enhanced and stable plasmonic photocatalytic activity towards removal of NO under 280nm light irradiation,resulting from the assistance of GO.Bi nanosphere acts as antenna for incident light and graphene oxide is regarded as an acceptor and transporter of the photogenerated electrons[1]by the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of Bi[2] while providing binding sites for Bi deposition and NO adsorption.Furthermore,the related growth and photocatalytic mechanism of Bi/GO composite system was proposed reasonably.
