Mineralization process of organic phosphorus in sediment was important to phosphorus releasing in some lakes.Phytate- P was the main form of organic phosphorus in all lake sediments studied so far.The methods for extracting and exterminating phytate from sediment had been studied.LC - MS will be a useful method after appropriate pre - purification on sediments.
