This work conducted experiment in one of the three cells in a large geotechnical model test system.The experimental cell is 5 m in length,5 m in width and 7.5 m in depth.Total 91.3 tons of unprocessed MSWs with food waste content of 60%were filled by layers.Leachate outflow,waste settlement,leachate pH and COD,and gas composition were measured,to focus on the behaviors of biodegradation,leachate production and compression.
