Penicillium marneffei is an opportunistic fungal pathogen,which can cause human infections in people predominantly living in South-east Asia and the southern portion of China .we report the case of patient whose manifestation includes high fever, weight loss, general malaise, chronic cough, multiple skin lesions on head and facial soft tissue. After three months of adequate antifungal therapy,the skin abscess was disappeared. Multiple abscess fluid obtained from the patient confirmed the presence of P. marneffei.We report this case on account of the unusual skin presentation and adjacent bone destruction.
