Background and Aim: Interact with IL23R and IL12Rβ1, IL-23 plays an important role in chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and tumors by shaping the development of Th1/Th17 cells.IL17A is considered as the Th17 signature cytokine, and elevated serum IL17A in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma showed poor progression in clinic.We investigated the effect of IL23/IL23R axis in the primary liver cancer development.
