本研究以50名暴力型罪犯、56名毒品型罪犯以及33名正常成年男性为被试，探讨了两类罪犯在Iowa赌博任务的决策条件下的冲动性反应模式。结果发现，暴力组和毒品组被试在收益-风险并存情境中的决策绩效显著低于正常人群，决策策略改变缓慢，表现出更强的冲动性决策行为特征，其决策功能的缺失主要表现为“即时收益优先”的决策模式以及高风险耐受性的特征。
基于动态监测过程的鼠标追踪技术可以反映认知过程的实时动态,更好的揭示被试在说谎反应中的心理过程,且具有良好的信效度(Freeman,J.B.& Ambady,N.,2010).
