In this study, reduced graphene oxide(rGO)was prepared by a green reductant,Vitamin C.The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature and reactants ratio on the electrical conductivity of obtained rGO were investigated using a Box-Behnken Design(BBD)with three independent variables and three levels. The response variable, namely electrical conductivity was statistically analyzed using a response surface methodology and two-way analysis of variance. The reactant ratio and reaction temperature as well as the interaction between them were significant whereas the reactants time as well as the interaction between reactants ratio and others were insignificant to the response.Simultaneous optimization of reaction conditions indicated that rGO with electrical conductivity of 10.257 S/cm was obtained at 95 oC for 2 hrs and VC/GO(mass ratio)ratio of 10.5.A high significant(p=0.0005)regression model was also developed to predict the electrical conductivity of obtained rGO according to preparation conditions.
