Flexible optical sensor is one of the important development directions of optical devices.A displacement sensor based on an asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer on flexible film was present in this paper.The long arm of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer was used as the sensing element of displacement sensor.The device was fabricated,optical characterized and measured.The experimental results show that the output of light intensity of the asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer is sensitive to the deformation of the long arm caused by displacement.
